Had to pull a 2nd gen out of the desert with my 3rd gen today. That old gen2 could hardly get out of its own way. Luckily I had plenty of drinking water with me...those poor guys would have died out there. I tried to talk em into just leaving it out there....not really worth pulling back to town but the poor owner is so upsidedown on that old antique I felt bad for him and towed him back.

yes....it was quite taxing on my awesome 3rd gen. Seems the wheels fell off of the gen2 so I was dragging it on its axles the whole way

Funny you should post this, I stopped and helped a stranded 3rd Gen owner yesterday. He said he thought something had punctured his radiator because he was overheating. Upon closer inspection we dislodged a commuter plane from his grille opening and sent it on its way. There were also random animals and other road debris clogging up the area between the grille and radiator. Hopefully this isn't a common occurrence. :D

So basically this is how I see it go down.... 1 gen was the leader. A frontier tried to follow and got stuck. 1st gen was so far ahead on top of the mountain or "rock" he didn't want to come back and help so you "helped" from the asphalt by saying "that sucks" and kept driving the mall crawler down the street cause you didn't want to "scratch" the investment.???? This is the movie that played in my head while reading this.

Lol jk. I'm sure you take it 3rd gen off road. It's a joke

lol Yeah, kinda like that! No damage to either the plane or the 3rd Gen though, I think there must have been enough room in there for the plane to make an emergency landing.
