Hi guyz, I had to sell my Taco today. I just got orders to go to fort RILEY, KS on 10 JAN 2010 and my next unit is getting deployed which means my TACO had to sit in Army Storage for whole year or maybe 15 months. I only had 1450 miles on it as of this mornining when I gave away the keys. I did not see any point of making $505/mo payment while sitting in storage. I still owned $27k to the bank. It was a hard decision but I hated how things turned out.

I just traded it for 2001 Mustang GT with 39k miles on it. I do plan on buying 2011 or 2012 Taco with same specs especially 4x4 TRD OFF ROAD, when we get back from deployment. By that time I will have enough money saved up to pay cash. I will remain active on these forums until I get my next Taco. Hopefully next time I will make a better decision.

Ya I really loved that Tacoma. I installed Extang Tuff Taneau, Weather Tech liners, Bed Bad and I was planning to go buy LEER CAP next paycheck. I only had my Taco for 55 days.

I put the Westin Bull Bar and Side Steps (in black) on.
Sorry to hear that you had to let it go. 55 days is not long enough. Hope you didn't lose out too bad on the deal. Good luck over there and I hope that it goes quickly for you. The good thing is though, like you said, when you come home you can buy one CASH $$$ !!! That'll be nice.
