How many overland points do I lose if I throw my maxi-trax in my roof box? Along those same lines, how many overlund points do i lose for having a roof box instead of a Prinsu life rack?

Seriously though, do you need me to being a saw/ axe? Or do people already have chainsaws in case of obstructions?

I thought that gained you Lund Bucks?

I'll have my hand saw, e-tool, might grab a hatchet if we're trying to get some camp fires going too. Won't bring any of my seasoned wood to start up though, not sure what out of state rules are in VT but RI is a no-no.

No bringing out of state wood to VT either. I'll have my hatchet too. Any yes, there will be fires at night. It's looking to be a little chilly.

Wish I'd kept the soft topper to try it in normal temps. Tried it in 85° and said F that so kipped up in the cab. Sold the topper, kipping up in the cab for this trip now...albeit this time with the windows open and the truck not running, won't need the A/C :D

Fair enough. I'll see if I have any newspaper for starting things off.

Yes, I'm just bringing my son. I was going to bring my daughter but she had such a bad neck sprain last week! I ended up bringing her to the clinic because I could see a huge bulge and I don't want to chance anything with that.

Edit; here's a picture that I took and sent to my wife while she was working

I just got home from doing a little recon for Friday's campsite. It took me a few tries before I came up with something viable, stand by for updated GPS tracks at the link above.

I've got a hand saw, chopping axe, and a hatchet. I'm considering tossing my chainsaw in too, just in case.

I have a 14" Husqvarna chainsaw that's electric. Let me make sure it's all good, charge up the batteries and I can toss it in the truck

Edit: It’s all good, just did a test on some firewood in backyard and batteries are charged

Hitting Hill Farmstead on Friday it looks like? If we're actually gonna stop we need to order ahead online.

Awesome, I’ll still bring mine. It’s already in the truck, better two than one.

What time you placing your order for? Says to pick closest time we think but probably available all day. I’ll probably pick up some cans and a bottle or two.

I haven't had a chance to look over the itinerary but are we going to be eating breakfast anywhere near the dorset caves? There is a little restaurant not far from there that I had the best pancakes of my life and I want to get them again!
    :fingerscrossed:

    You travel like my in-laws.

while waiting for the waiter to bring the bill for breakfast they’re talking about where to get lunch. DC was hilarious. Museums monuments all just fluff between what they were really there for: eat.

none of them are even slightly overweight, either.
