I was sick of being the only stock rig on last years expedition. It was a busy weekend for me between the kiddo and wrenching.

 

Nice! What suspension did you put in there?

You'd be fine. A completely stock truck could do this no problem.

 

Was talking with the wife last night, if we could only do 2 days, 1 night of camping, where would you folks start and camp for the 1 night?

Basically, we are thinking if we leave early one morning, drive to Vermont and cruise part of the run for the day, camp, get up drive more fun stuff and head home later that evening.

Looking for more dirt/trail then pavement

 

Can we race on the track??? lol

Also can we literally just drive up ski slopes in summer? I've passed some before and was like hmmmmm why not go up there for a view.

 

I would do the northern part of the trip. Most of day 1 is dirt, and day 2 starts off with a nice swim at Warren falls if you want, and then spends the day criss crossing various gaps through the green mountains which at the right time of year will yield some spectacular foliage views and the rest of the year is just plain old beautiful country driving IMO.

 

Neither is particularly encouraged. I'm going to leave it at that, and let you make your own decisions. Remember, actions have consequences.

I wouldn’t recommend driving up any ski mountains unless you have permission. We got lucky this trip and the last time I brought people up I had loose permission. It’s not something I would make a habit of. Some mountains have accessible routes I.e. okemo, burke, etc

 

You mind if I snag a few of these (mostly the ones of my truck) for Facebook, etc?

 

Yes, I need some time to make updates, clean it up a little and then I'll make the route public on Gaia.

 

Ya sorry, i'll dump them all onto the Google drive later this morning. None of them have been processed. I just did a save-as out of the RAW format into jpeg. I'll throw it all up for you. Feel free to use whatever for whatever.
