I do have some adjustments to make. Hill Farmstead just might become one of those.

If not don't worry. I'm taking Thursday off too, so I can just hit it earlier before heading over to Burke

I’m liking this dirt road brewery tour you got going. May need to bring an extra cooler.

no seriously, might need some help with some other folks and I’m absolutely useless but a brewery tour dirt road tour VT NH ME thing would be awesome. Don’t sleep on tuckermans.

Edit: @BadDNA coming from RI, if this will require a test/QT afterward at the time, I will bail. I'll keep an eye on the news, I don't expect that to happen, but just giving a heads up.

That's a good call, and I appreciate it. I hope the rest of you keep this in mind too. The Vermont State website linked below shows who needs to quarantine before travel to VT, and is updated weekly on Friday. I hope you'll all be responsible about it, things are going well up here and I'd hate to see that turn around unnecessarily.

You can get tests turned around in 48 hours at a place by me. Some friends just got them. So there are places that do it in a timely manner.

What are you intended lunch stops? I.e. eat on the go, or stop for a bit? I need to start planning logistics ahead of time cause I'm so fucking busy this month if I don't start early I'll wait until the last minute and forget something.

Probably short stops, if we're near a town we can try to get sandwiches or something like that to go, or whatever we have packed in our coolers. We'll take breaks for lunch though.

I have to work mandatory one weekend a month until the end of the year for a big project that our company is going through, looks like 8/29 may be the date... I already put in PTO and it was approved.... going to see how that pans out with the supervisor. Already trying to think of workarounds, such as splitting from the group at X time on Saturday, logging into work, and then meeting up with you all again once I'm done for the day.

Hoping I can just get out of it completely but we'll see how that goes... wish for some good luck on my end!

So no overlund charcuterie board prepared with the finest of overpriced hand forged tactical chef's knife set and local free range organic ingredients to start followed by lobster risotto and a dutch oven creme-brule for desert. Got it.

I've said it before, you have the perfect way out: Corona virus....

You don't need to contract it, just say you have symptoms. Then you "quarantine" for 2 weeks and get tested after only to find out it was just the common cold.

Nope, grab a deli sandwich, a piece of fruit and a seltzer from the general store, call it good enough.

I've already worked from home (office keyboard warrior) during this entire pandemic since March so even if I were to be "sick", I am probably still expected to work. Don't know how they handle that lol

They just don't know. You could transmit the rona via email. No one's definitively proved you can't.

Added a rally point/time for Thursday afternoon in East Burke to the original post, see Edit 3 at the bottom.

Please tell me there's a place to fill up around there.

Between a new baby and lots of house projects I need to finish off I couldn't join anytime soon but would definitely be interested if it becomes a yearly thing. I'm in southern VT just north of Bennington and have a camp up in Barton.

3h 45 for me. I'll try to leave work at 11 and get up there for 3 w/ a stop for fuel for the taco and tacos for me. :D might be a smidge late.

You'll pass several when you get off I-91 in Lyndonville on State Route 5 and there's one in East Burke village.
