okay then, that’s still not terrible. Again still probably a midnight rendezvous so I’ll probably kip up somewhere on my own that night if I don’t end up joining up Thursday afternoon.

awesome. Someone will have to pull me out when I do something stupid. Looks like you just volunteered

ya, we talked about it again today, I just don’t want to be pushing to get some where Friday night.

I was looking forward to this, as back in the mid 90s we used to drive up the white mountain area and back down through the green area often. The wife did ask if we could do this venture in a few weeks, so maybe I’ll reach out after I hear how it all goes.

Do you have the prelim .gpx (or whatever format you've got?) so we can upload to our Nav?

Just trying to plan out food wise and other stuff with the wife- lunch we are grabbing quick bite on the road, I assume the same for breakfast (breakfast sandwhich and coffee) and go on the road and dinner take back to camp, or we making stuff at camp? Should I bring my portable propane grill?

Use the street address. The park doesn't show up in google.

Crap. when I was thinking about coming up Friday night I figured I wouldn't give a rip about doing gas station/take out for a couple days but now I'll be there longer.....

If you need space I'll be bringing my (walmart knockoff) YETI cooler w/ ice for keeping my ... water ... cool. I should have plenty of space available for use by others.

I'm having trouble sharing the link from my phone. I'll hop on my laptop in the morning and share the link to the Gaia folder with the route files.

I'm planning on breakfast and dinner in camp, lunch on the road, either cooler food or gas station sandwiches most likely. There might be some good spots to eat along the way, but I haven't had time to identify them yet.

All set? The parking lot is going to be on the left, just past the softball field and there is a cemetery on the right side just before it.

if you give me the checkpoint estimates for where we’ll be along the way I can spend some time looking. Unfortunately I kind of know the area and other than King Arthur there’s not a hell of a lot I know for good food out there. Bluebird bbq up in Burlington but that’s kind of out of the way for the route.

yeah I just stoped reading too early I’m good. I am smrt.

Is anyone else bringing any kids?

I was also going to ask about food. What are people bringing?

I just grabbed my grill and stove and threw them both into my truck (i was surprised I could find them. They were in storage).

Yup, my daughters coming with me. I think i'm just taking my stove and leaving the portable grill.

For food morning will probably be oatmeal/ coffee for me. Bagels/poptarts for her. Lunch will be pb&j unless we stop somewhere and see something good. Dinner is going to be chicken, pizza, hot dogs or cheese dogs.

I put in a portable propane grill and two propane containers on my pile of stuff to pack in the truck Thursday. Everyone more than welcome to use it as well!

Wife and I are fine with grilling dogs and burgers or something at night. Don’t have a griddle for breakfast stuff but can bring a cast iron.

I’ll have a 55 Yeti we got as a gift recently for food and beverages and another cooler for overflow beverages if needed hehehe

Hey just a quick heads up. i was talking to my co-workers and they informed me that Vt may require a 14 quarantine before you can enter the state depending on the county you live in.
You may want to go to the Vt health dept home page and look. There is a map of the counties that do and don't require quartine
