Hall of Fame

Very lucky to have known Bill Cowher personally since 8th grade (50 years now) and recently got a personal invitation from him to attend his NFL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony this past Saturday. I was 1 of 10 high school classmates invited!!

Took my son and future son-in-law (a die hard Browns fan who was a bit overwhelmed by all the black and gold there). Almost 19,000 fans there and possibly more than 75% were Steelers fans! Terrible Towels EVERYWHERE!! We were in Section B Row 12......on the field just off to the side of center stage in the "Cowher" section. Phil Simms, Nate Burleson, and Boomer Esiasian and Marvin Lewis (ex Bengals coach) were maybe 2-3 rows behind us.

Got to go the the Steelers after-party too - for invited fans only. Cole (my son) got to meet and get autographs/pictures from a few of his Steelers idols along with Bill. Me I got a picture with Franco Harris - a fellow Penn State alumnus and HOFer from the '70s Steelers dynasty.

Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!!!
