Took a nice quick trip up to Chinn's Lake for the night. Fun trail, and saw a Jeep Brute (pick-up thing) that was pretty cool. The lakes are very low right now.

New pads/rotors a couple weeks back. Very simple to change. No more steering wheel vibrations when braking!

Completed lift install last night. Running:

    TRD PRO Suspension System (Bilstein)
TOYTEC TRD PRO 1" lift (spring perch)
    TOYEC BOSS Rear Leaf Springs

    Before measurements (Hub to fender):
    LF 20.25 RF 20.5
    LR 22 RR 21.5

    After:
    LF 23.25 RF 23
    LR 24.25 RR 24

Net gain, about 3" in front and 2" in back.

Everything went smoothly, except one of the front leaf spring bolts was completely seized to the sleeve in the leaf. Had to cut the bolt on either side of the leaf spring, and after going through several cheap blades the 'Diablo Steel Demon' blades from HD actually made very quick work of it.IMG_5389.jpgIMG_8568.jpgIMG_7711.jpgIMG_9445.jpgIMG_7664.jpgIMG_8700.jpg

Love them. A little stiff with an empty bed, but ride like butter with a load.

Thanks. I have some sliders being built right now. After that, some real skids. Will probably do UCA’s next time I need tires.
