    3.5" (adjusted to 4.5") fabtech suspension lift. 15x8 procomp 252 crawlers. 32x11.5 BFG Ko2's.
    - $1000 OBO

This is a Haltech Elite ecu that comes with the 5vz jumper harness made by Boomslang. It already has fuel/coolant/boost maps to start you off at a lovely 420hp. Paid over $1700 for this plus $350 for the tune that’s on it. Asking $1000. My IMMENSE loss is your gain.

Check out my other post to see the turbo manifolds i have for sale. Perfect kit to get you turbocharged and gapping every stock mustang 5.0 in your area lol.

Why you selling this? I feel like it’d be a lot of fun on a supercharged engine:rolleyes:

It would be perfect for a supercharger lol. I also have trd 440cc injectors if anyone wants those. This haltech doesn’t have enough inputs to control a 2jz which is my next move

Yep. It’ll run as a piggyback to your stock ecu. Plug and play. Easy as can be

Any idea on compatibility on the harness as far as years go? I'm not super familiar with the 5vz yet but I'd guess they changed up through the years like the RZ motors.

From what i understand, the harness will work flawlessly with any 5vz motor with an auto trans. More info on boomslang’s website I’m sure

Look at their website and then look at the two wiring diagrams for the different year ecu pinouts - you may be happy or you may be disappointed depending on what you see.

Yeah I’ve been really toying around with the idea of a piggyback ECU. I’m having my supercharger rebuilt, and having some of it ported and polished. Nothing huge, but combined with water meth and a 2.0 pulley I think I’ll want the new engine management. If I do go that route I’ll probably pull my 7th injector kit.

Shot a message to boomslang to see if it'll work in my 02. A few different part numbers for there harnesses pop up as you change through the years on their site.

Already got a response, won't work. That harness is only good for 03-04

The ECU connectors and pin outs changed almost every single year. You wouldn’t be able to use a 2002 harness on a 2003 for example, or a 1995 on a 1998.

You have to use the harness specific to your model year and drivetrain. It’s all different.
