    Is that a shift kit? I do not have a shift kit installed yet but would like to at some point. No, my core issue with my trans is not the shift itself, it is when it shifts. With foot to the floor, WOT in D, mine will shift at 3500 rpms. I can go well beyond 3500 if I shift it manually.

    Yes it is a shift kit.

    I'll have to pay attention next time I floor it and report back, I'm not sure what rpm it typically shifts at when I go WOT but I believe it's higher than 3500 rpm.

    My friend with an '02 like mine that has an auto with the SC and a 7th says he can bang 5K all day. I will be curious what yours does.

    Unfortunately, I can't remember if I was able to before the SC/Haltech. And to be honest, even as it is now I will be able to kick Igors ass. :luvya:

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Every other Toyota with an auto that I've floored from a standstill will nearly slap limiter on the 1-2 shift. I have no data on a floored 2-3 shift though cause most auto Toyotas are too slow and my bedtime comes before that shift.

    Did Gabe do your haltech?
    There was a modification done later with the setting with the temperature reading through the haltech that effected the trans shift points because of temperature readings, give him a call

    Went out and did some WOT pulls today. Shifted around 5000 rpm every time.

    Also unfortunately starting to find issues with my tune. After slowing down for something and then getting back on the gas the truck sometimes stumbles and really struggles to climb back through the rpm range even with very little throttle input. It only ever happens right after I get back on the gas from a decel and the issue can drag out for 10-20 seconds until the ECU corrects the issue. Kinda odd...

    Any haltech errors triggered? Almost sounds like the spark plugs are loading up/fouling.

    Yes. And ignition in the ON position. The truck can be started and running too if you want.

    My Haltech came with a yellow USB A to USB B cable that I use to connect to the laptop.
