I've been in contact via email... still trying to decide if his kit is worth paying for or not. Something not adding up about the auto transmission compatibility so waiting to hear back from him again. He did tell me all prices are going up in the New Year though, so BF would definitely be the time to buy!

Haltech was my 2nd best upgrade besides the supercharger, no turbo because of my state.
If you have the coin it will be one of your best upgrades for tuning, you should contact Skyler on Facebook supercharger section on his turbo and haltech setup.
He push his too far with boost tho 415hp and 17 pounds of boost I think,
Gabe does tons of turbo setups and tunes.
He knows ALL ABOUT TURBOS and tuning

    And grab that 2000 model

I'm also on the fence about "modified" injectors. They seem to have issues in low consumption states, which translates to poor AFR management in cruising. I have 440cc 'modified' right now and I'm wanting to upgrade to some real ones. Who makes 650cc without killing the bank? I'm willing to run an adapter harness too if needed.

Can't get that 2000 unfortunately, he says the adapter isn't compatible with the autos.

LC Engineering has 650cc injectors for around $500. Thats what I am running currently but I am thinking of downsizing. My AFR’s are always a bit too rich and I am thinking the injectors are not spraying correctly at short pwm. Not sure

Why not get an adjustable fpr and turn down the pressure?

Pressure is for atomization, not volume flow. Lowering pressure could make his problem worse.

Good point. Worse atomization with a lower pressure. Guess there's a reason you only hear about people needing to increase and not decrease fp when in pursuit of more power.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but Haltech was acquired by Race Winning Brands in May, 2022. Motec was also acquired by Bosch last year. The Haltech ownership change drove some changes in the product line and I understand slowed down production last year for a transition period. Here is Haltech's explanation for the simplifying of the models offered: https://www.haltech.com/news-events/elite-series-revamp/

3500 seems like a lot, then again I don’t really know much about after market engine management

Makes your supercharger feel like it’s adding 2x the power. My truck on 34s, front and rear bumper with tire carrier, and the Haltech will smoke these new Tacomas and 4Runners, no sweat.

How bad was the set up? Worth it? I'm just worried about the not ideal AFRs

Worth it? Hell yeah. This wakes up the engine like no other mod. I feel like I will snap my axle every time I press on the throttle.
The Haltech gets you to ideal AFRs. Unlike the URD crap, the Haltech uses its own fuel and timing map. You tell it what AFR and what timing you want, at specific boost and rpms, and that is what you’ll get. No pinging at all, even if I try to.
