Guys, its been a while since I have been here on the forum. I like all the good information and recommendations form all of you. I really feel the Ham community is a perfect fit for off road Tacoma community.
Just a few notes, I played around with the APRS and even purchased a table to use for mapping but it was just easier for me to use my hand held Garmin. Currently, I am looking at GAIA as a back up to my GPS but they both rely on satellites. To be honest, I don't believe I have played with APRS enough to evaluate it. I really need to play with some more.
