Ham Radio Install 2012 Tacoma

I have finished my install of a YAESU FT-2800M 2 meter radio.
Thanks for all your help, with out it what a pain.
The 2012 Tacoma has many secrets that made the install very easy.
One update
I reinforced the right side console panel, with a 28 gauge steel plate, three bolts too the radio bracket.
I am tired.

You have a First GEN TACO. I have a SECOND GEN TACO. HEY
My first TACO was a 2003 small 4 cyl. It was totaled by a stolen 2015 Mazda SUV.
I cried for week. I was the first and only owner, I loved the truck it only had 198,000 miles.

 

Our trucks are the same Gen, first Gen was 95.5-04

second Gen was 05-15 with a face lift in 2012

The white SUV to the right of my TACO is the stolen Mazda that hit me.
How did you mount the antenna?
Where do you mount the MIC.???

I can not find a gas mileage, performance increase or information station upgrades forums for the 2012 TACO.

The specs call for 400 mile per tank full.
I get 325 mile per tank full?????

nice i used the tech deck with ram ball mounts to put the cb in mine.
