    I don't have a tach but high in the rpm range is where I usually shift my truck. You can feel the truck start to loose power at my guess would be 5000-5200. Normal driving I shift at around 4K. I am getting these numbers from the same driving habits when I had my '98 with a tach in it.

    Both were 3.4 5 speed 4x4's.
