@ARCHIVE so on/off subject here: if we order the flip kit and hangers/shackles at the same time will they ship as each becomes available or as a complete order? Asking for a friend :anonymous:

We normally ship all parts at the same time, lead time defaults to the longest lead time item, but we could probably help your friend out if they are in a pickle and ship the Ubolt flip earlier

I agree with these statements and why I asked to buy a set of fab'd shackles.

    1) Easier maintenance. I know you can add a zerk to stock shackles but I love blowing money.
    2) Beefier. Which doesn't really matter in a shackle role, but it's still beefier
    3) Shackle could need replacing anyway so may as well get a gucci shackle.
    4) IG clout

I wanted one for all the reasons listed but maily because my shackle got fucked up by my Dakar springs and kinda want to replace. Could replace with new factory ones but stronger matching ones seems better to me and the ease of maintenance. Granit you could tap a zerk in a factory one but yolo.

I’m guessing this if for direct orders only, not if you order through Accutune?

Recent feedback from a head industrial designer:

    Hey Archive-

I got the hangars installed last night and….. man what a difference. Talk about worth the time and money. The jitters in the rear are gone, it feels rock solid and the install really wasn’t as bad as the youtubers made it out to be. I did hangars, u bolt flip kit and replaced warranty leafs in 5 hours. Your product is so bad ass and well built, and I make parts and do custom fabrication for a living, so I know quality when I see it. I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I appreciate good fitment, customer service, easy to follow directions and quality engineering in this day where it seems a bunch of people don’t give a shit anymore. You guys clearly do, so keep it up!

    Thanks again,
    SB

I completely agree with the statement, I’ve got a fat ass rear end truck with a lot of weight on it and It completely did everything That was just was said there. I was skeptical at first and took my chances and said hey why not! Your products are awesome, thank you.

Do you think you’ll ever design something to put the shock through the bed? I probably could have put the 12” shock a little higher and gotten some more bump. Down travel is maxed out by the shackle and short Dakars, but still have a little more shaft left.

12" shocks do not need to go through the bed, it sounds like you set the axle tabs off droop, not full bump. You can message me pictures so I can lend an opinion, but this is the Hammer hanger thread, so better kept to the shock relo thread or messages, thank you

Just had a customer request to change their address, we complied, we shipped, then after 3 boxes shipped, they contacted us and said they gave us the wrong street number. No more address changes

I like this level of transparency. Shows a little of what you have to deal with and why policies are the way they are.
