Things you read on the internet are not a valid review, it's nice to read firsthand accounts rather than third hand accounts

    My Dakars sucked. Period.
Did both HD 7-leaf (not as bad) and mid 6-leaf

I've got 80k on mine, not bad for a $500 leaf pack. Yeah, they are noisy, but so are lots of things on my truck. They have some limitations but all together I'm very happy with them. Not sure what your expectations are from a leaf pack on a truck but mine still provide several inches of lift after carrying 100+ lbs over stock for 6.5 years.

Would I buy them to put on my next build? No, but I can afford better and have a clearer vision of what I want.

Would I recommend them to someone just lifting their first truck and looking for a solid solution? Absolutely.

I couldn't find any info on dobinsons either, but after talking to Eric and having an equal hard time trying to find anything negative about them.... I bought some during their sale.

I would have installed them already but I have been in Tahoe since Wednesday. I will be throwing them on tomorrow morning though .

All of what you said I agree with for a budget leaf pack. The main thing that bothers me is the leafs slapping side to side in my shackles and slowly cutting into the metal of the shackle. There is a design flaw with Dakars that I can’t get past

Just paid $595 for a brand new Icon RXT pack, so the Dakars are taking the shelf for now

You use a coupon code or something? On vivid racing and horsepower freaks, they're $225 for the pair
