The secret to a non stressful install is to do it in stages, did the rivets on the driver's side hanger last weekend and then the passenger side today. Now it will be just a matter of unbolting them when it's time to install the hangers.

Are we supposed to reuse some of the washers from the original shackle? I finished my install yesterday but once done realized my kit only came with 4 washers for the M14 bolts. I put the washers under the nuts and none under the bolt heads. Now looking back it looks like everyone is running a washer under the bolt head and nut... but all the new kit pics ive seen only show 4 washers with the hardware.

@ARCHIVE Do you think it's worth the hassle to pull it apart to throw 4 more washers on under the shackle bolt heads?

That's fine as is, I like to put the washer under the bottom bolt head, instead of nut, because you turn the bolt to tighten, not nut.
You got the upper washer how I recommend it.

Ah thank you, that would've made sense with the washer under the bolt head torquing it down but since it's already together I'm not going to worry about it.

Is anyone running these hangers with stock leaf spring? What can can I expect from these hangers if I use stock leaf spring? And do these give any type of lift?

I plan to when my set of hammer hangers get here. I don't have a lift and want to get my money's worth out of the stock suspension before upgrading. I don't think they are supposed to lift at all, just improve the ride quality and articulation.

I can't comment on running with an OEM leaf pack but the product description on page one says 0 to 1/4" of lift with stock shackles.
I'd believe the word of the maker, who has said in the product description 0-1/4" and multiple times here, than some kook with a youtube channel.

I installed kings all around have 0 preload on front, driver side has a little to fix the taco lean. The way my truck sits now I’m a little nose high. I want to level the truck and was wondering if this might be an option instead of new leaf springs.

An add a leaf is a good way to get back to level. The HH are more about stability and range of motion than lift.

Hi, read reviews in post #1, these are great combo with stock springs. I loved the combo myself. You can expect a great ride and great handling. Yes, with stock springs you get a little lift, maybe 1/4- 1/2"

I think he measured correctly, but it was that he didn't move the truck before he measured and I don't think he put it on its own weight either before torquing the shackles down (with stock rubber bushings).
This may have added about 1/2" to the measurement. Short Dakar HDs without weight do gain about 1/2" lift

You have all poly bushings and poly doesn't require that step, you're good
