Humble brag, just knocked out an install in two hours. The right tools and an extra person makes all the difference in the world.

Just grind the heads off and knock the rest of the rivet out or drill them out?

    Grind head off rivets

    knock off hanger

    grind flush with frame

knock out the side two with an air hammer and flat tip punch

Drill out bottom two with Eric’s sweet bits.

Mine are arriving on Tuesday! What kind of spray paint should I buy for the install? The stuff made for underbody or just regular old black?

Just something decent, I like Engine paint, VHT suspension epoxy and Rust-O-Leum Rust convertor paint

Believe the hype on these! Went from OME to Bilstein 8100/8112 and didn’t think the ride could get any better until I installed the hammer hangers. Thanks @ARCHIVE for making a great product!

Its fairly accurate on my site listing, getting base hanger kits out in ~31 days, adding shackles or cross tube around 60

Did anything ever come of this from ARB's end? Just recently found that this was the culprit for all the metal clanking I have been hearing lately. The shackles are also gouged up from this happening.

Thanks for the update. Have others done what you suggested and trim those leafs? Hate to drop more money on some new leafs because of this problem.

    Not much stock left.
@ARCHIVE, looking to upgrade to your hangers but have two questions.

My current set up includes King 2.5" X 10" Smoothies with the TC Rear Shock Hoop kit, King 2" X 4" bumps, Deaver U402 Exp II's and I have limit straps. I'm looking to upgrade to the Deaver U402 III's. Will the Hammer Hangers work well with this setup? Further, I assume I would be better off with the 3.6" shackle option over the stock shackle?

Also, how well do they hold up in the winter with roads that constantly get salted?

    Thx,

Hey, I live in Buffalo NY where the roads are heavily salted, and as such, I make this kit as corrosion resistant as possible for northern folks, the kit is blasted, zinc primed and top coated.
Yes, Hh work perfect with Deaver springs. With your setup, you will be fine with stock shackles and rubber bushings, save the money.
EDIT: see @JoeCOVA's explanation below on how Deaver currently does U402 stage II + III.
(straight from Deaver about 2 years back, the U402 stage III was same as II + with one extra leaf)
