I'm installing my set of HH's this week and I am pumped! Thanks to tacoma world and boredom I have started to research lifts for when I am ready to pull the trigger and noticed that Wheelers has on sale with the All Pro expo's. I would love to get some of Eric's new leaf packs when they become available but what are your thought's on this kit? It seems like a good deal and comes with a lot more essential parts than most kits for the money.

I like it except the leaf pack. I’ve heard some questionable things about all pro leaf packs wearing out way too early.

I've heard the same, but mostly on the standard pack. If you're only running minimal weight, then the expo pack might be a good choice because it is very flexy. And the price point isn't too bad. I wouldn't opt for it if you carry a lot of weight though. That's what deaver U402s are for.

Yea my Dakar HD’s are already starting to show some serious wear. Might be making the switch over to a deaver pack when I finally give in and purchase HH’s.

Thanks Eric for making a righteous and incredibly stout product. These things have been sitting in my basement for MONTHS awaiting install... I have been actually dreading this install, simply because I have a small space to work in and with a 1 year old running around, alls I want to do at the end of my day is drink until I pass out.. lol. That being said, these hangers are awesome and for Toyota to make such shitty flimsy factory hangers, they sure as FUCK didn’t want to come off. The stock hangers came right off once the heads were cut and chiseled off, but man oh man. Those rivets going up and down through the stock bed brace almost made me cry... lol. Anyway, but these hangers they are sweet, as everyone has said, the driving is a very weird, comfortable, planted feeling. You really need to experience it to understand. I'm not sure on exact weights of what all I carry but it's probably somewhere over 400lbs when loaded up for a trip. Daily I don't carry gear but have a topper, rack, bed platform/storage. I am installing RCI sliders and skids this week too along with my HH's.

Yeah I've got the dakar standard pack with the AAL sitting in my garage. I don't think I'm going to bother installing it. I want to switch them out with something more weight bearing, that will cycle more cleanly. The dakars have served their purpose.

Well with that estimate, I don't think I'd recommend the all pro's. I think you'd be better off with the U402 Stage IIs which they advertise as 400-600lb capacity.

Yea I’ve enjoyed them. Not to bad but I’m starting to throw more weight at the truck. I’m actually considering the deaver U402 stage 2’s.

I've heard the Allpro springs are imported, and they don't have much arch, which is part of why they go flat. Also not sure they fixed their bushing width to stock Tacoma width yet, they have been narrower than stock. The rear Super bump stand/mount limits rear bump travel. The 5160s are short so they limit droop.

My recommendation is stay on the high quality route even if you have to buy 1 thing at a time.

I just realized that my HH have been sitting in the garage for too long, looks like a nice weekend to put them on. I have noticed a couple people in here have installed them multiple times and some took no time at all on their first install. So with that being said is cutting off the rivet heads and drilling them out the best and easiest way to install? Any tips to add to that? I'll probably remove my rear HC at the same time for paint to add some headroom.

Not necessarily the best and easiest but the better ways include vehicle lifts and air tools.

It all depends on the tools you have at your disposal and then I'll give you a method. Do you have a plasma cutter/torch? Do you have an air compressor? Do you have an angle grinder? All actual questions, not rhetorical. What's your rear leaf set up?
