    I can't stress DIY enough. You can do so much more than what manufacturers sell. Customize the weight capacity, colors, design to fit your shape. With just some time and youtube-ing anyone can sew this stuff.
    www.dutchwaregear.com is a great place for supplies. www.ripstopbytheroll.com has a lot wider selection of nylon.

    Bingo. I have my Hammock stand on the other side of the truck.
    Hammock or tarp? It would add a bit to the diy pricing. I bet if you gave it a shot you could come up with something usable.

    Hammocks aren't really an expertise along with the fact that I wouldn't know where to start for a "portable" stand alone hammock I could build a stand and shit but not portable it would be a weld myself 200 pound stand lol
