Hi guys , just bought a 2018 trd off-road and I had problems with the shocks , after changing the shocks ( profender 2.0 ) 1 inc lift front and nothing on the back , just to level it up , 285/75/16 on the stock rims , looks amazing, but when going on 60mph and over the steering feels loose and the car handling is awful, took it back to alignment and more everything is fine and on the alignment it's perfect , BTW everything is oem except the shocks

Any help in here do I need steering stabiliser or uca or whatever

.... ● solved - drop 1/2in front helped handling aloooot + converted the upper arm bushing to ball joint and align them + tightened the bolts by hand force insteadof the tightening gun + ground force balancing the tires

Welcome, I’d post your alignment results here, the shop should have given this to you. There are some members here (not myself) that can see the specs and suggest changes to help.
Also realize the rake you removed was part of the design in the factory spec the shop is following.

call them and ask for a copy, if they don't have it, or won't send it, I think you already know you should look elsewhere.

I don't understand. It has sucked from day 1? There are about a hundred things that can cause your problem, from alignment to balance to rack.

Just my $0.02, the steering in my Tacoma has had a few dead spots on the steering wheel since day one. Especially when the steering wheel from the 12 o’clock position, it doesn’t really turn until I keep turning the wheel. Which also means I can pull the wheel slightly right or left and still drive straight.

This is the only reason I've left my truck un lifted. Only offroad I do is on the beach so a lift isn't necessary, but damn they look good lifted.

    Really good!

A 1" front leveller really shouldn't cause any problems after full alignment. The alignment place should've sent you on your way with something of this nature, showing a before and after.20230626_142551.jpg
What's amazing is fitting those tires on stock wheels with no issues rubbing.
Some trucks can get away with it. Some can't.
Plenty of shops won't do 285's as it's beyond recommended tire spec for that wheel.

In dubai they'll fit whatever you want and let you deal with the incoming issues I'm going now to check the alignment of it and share whatever happens

I had driver side vibrations after alignment because some knob head forgot to properly torque uca and lca bolts. (Actually not sure they were even tightened at all). I was able to tighten uca arm with a short box end wrench.
Bushings and mounts dampen vibes. If the bolts aren't tight the bushings aren't doing their job.

ah yes, the driver's side front, I see it's missing.
check the other studs, there is a good chance someone overtighten lug nuts, you can stretch the threads from this
