Hello -
2022 TRD-Off Road...
Multiple people have told me that my "hands free" functionality in the Tacoma has a 'whine' or 'high pitched' background noise.
Makes it unusable.
Anyone have any similar experience?

My stock 21 sounds great.

 

Good point hiSPI, but no....multiple people said something to me as I was driving home from the dealer.....nothing has changed in 3 months. Thanks for asking.

 

maybe pair a spouse or friend's phone and see if it has the same problem. You could also try unpairing and pairing back up to see if that helps.

Now that you mention it, I read issues where henky aftermarket gas station chargers have caused issues. OP, are you charging at the same time?

I was being partially serious since my company phone is a Samsung flip phone and the bluetooth to my Tacoma and even wife’s Lexus has a slight buzz. I have no issues with iphone and bluetooth though.
