I'm running 265/75R16's for several years now. Great tires, and I find they have good traction in the rain. I have about 24K on mine.

I have P265/75R16's on my truck. Got them at 15k miles on the ODO and now have almost 55k.... so 40k miles on the tire.

FAR FAR better than the rugged fails (although almost every tire is)

They have seen tons of off road use, snow and ice, to desert n rock, to sand dunes at pismo and they have done fairly well.

That stated, they never excelled at anything. They have gotten a little noisy with wear and at 40k miles they are just about done (ill run them through the summer and change them out before winter hits as i often find myself up in the snow). Also they never really instilled confidence in wet weather or ice like the Michelin MS2's did.

After this summer ill be switching from the hankook's to Cooper AT/3's in a LT265/75R16 Load range C (essentially a P rated tire) that has a full 3.5/32's more tread depth. But still relatively light weight (46lbs for the cooper vs 39lbs for the hankook)

They are all of ~ 20 bucks more a tire. and you could probably talk the tire shop down further.

I got my 265/70-17's in the fall. I had some crappy tires, and went around a turn in the rain and lost the rear end. That was the last straw and the next week I got these.
Wal-Mart had them on sale, but not in stock. So I called up Mavis tire corporate headquarters and got them to beat the installed price. I think I paid just over $600 installed with a alignment.
They were great in the snow this past winter, great in the rain, look aggresiveish, but don't hurt my mpg's.

Be careful with those tires. They are great at first, but after about 20K miles or so they get VERY hard. Terrible in the rain and even worse in snow and ice. To the point where it was actually pretty scary a few times. Of course on dry ground they were fine still but just a forewarning. I ditched them and bought some Cooper ST MAXX's and i couldn't be happier. Just as quiet, meatier, and kick ass in the rain, snow, and ice. If those are too aggressive go with the Cooper AT/3's.

Best tire ever. Put them on my truck 3 years ago and never looked back. No other tire gets more bang for the buck. Aggressive looking, excellent traction in dry and wet conditions.

thats kind of been my experience. only 2.5 years and ~38k miles on the hankooks and you can see all sorts of small dry cracks etc between the lugs and past 25-30k miles on them their wet performance severely tumbled. Truck is always garaged so its not like they just sit in the sun / elements 24hrs a day.

Lets put it this way. They are decent tires for the price but im going to try something else next time

Couldn't agree more with this. Truck is garage kept and I'm seeing the small dry cracks too.

The dealer put a new set on my truck before I bought it in LT265/70/16. I have about 6k in them last month and they do ok. I'd rank them right up there with any of the similarly priced budget AT tires. So far in 6k thy are good all around. Good on the highway, good in rain, did ok on some muddy construction sites. But at only 6k I can really hear that I need a rotation. A little odd for a new tire and I suspect they will be very loud after 40k miles. But I may be hunting for reasons to swap them out for K02s.

Just do it. Put em up on CL and you will find someone to buy a set at a discount rather easily. Hell i sold the stock rugged fails for 250 with 10k on them!

It can go both ways with any tire, I have seen the copper AT3's fail after 20k and a buddy almost rolled the truck. I have the atm's for winter on my steal rims and they are ok for that. I think they work good on road and some trail riding. Personally I wont put the coppers on any of my vehicles.

I am on my second set of the Dynapro AT-Ms in size 265/65/17. The first set I got about 40K out of them, performance declines somewhat after (for me) about the 35K mark. I rotate them every oil change and I think that helps. I paid $687 for this latest set of 4 last year, and they seem to have gotten pricier lately. I actually only use these for 3 seasons and run a dedicated snow tire in the winter. Although decent in the snow, as others have noted, these tires are not great on ice. Since we have pretty severe winters where I live, I choose to run a snow tire. Other than that, however, these tires offer a GREAT combination of dry and wet weather performance, along with a very smooth and quiet ride. They are also very easy to balance. When the first set was due for replacement, I really had no issue going back to the AT-Ms. For the money, they are a very, very competent tire across a wide range of conditions. Definitely recommend if you can get them for a decent price.

I went through 2 sets. They are not bad in the rain. I decided I wanted something more aggressive and have the walmart version of duratec's now. These are better in heavy snow, but I wish I had stayed with the hancooks. Quieter and better mpg. I had 0 complaints about the hancook atm's.

I've run ATMs for years. Had them on my 2001 4wd duramax, my 03 1500 and my 09 Tacoma. Probably the best value of an all terrain ya can buy. They were great in all weather from Texas to Colorado.
