I just turned 5k since I got my Dynapro ATM's. Also got the 265/75r16's in P rating. Love them. And I've had them offroad three times since I got them. They handle great offroad! Very comparable to my BFG A/T's that I had on my '99 as far as traction. Much quieter though and a lot cheaper.

P265/75-16 ATm's on my 06 TRD Prerunner. Approx 13,000 miles on them. Still quiet, still smooth, no visable wear (it took 5K to wear all the little nubs off) and no need to rebalance. 36 psi frt and 32psi rear has them sitting nice and flat on the road with great wear.

Had to drive home (Sierra Nevada foothills, no flar ground at all) from work thurs nite in 4-6 inches of wet, heavy snow that packed to ice as soon as you drove on it. No lips, slides or issues at all. Never needed the locker and even spent some time in the ditch driving around a stuck Subaru.... :D

Today, with my one day old tires, we joined the SoCalTaco gang on a run above Pine Valley (see the photos in the R.A.D. thread)...

The Dynapros worked flawless and surpassed my expectations of an all terrain tire and acted more like a Mud Terrain tire... without the highway noise or cost!

Not only did I not have one issue today in mud or snow... even drove a short distance, in the lead, on fresh (virgin) snow covered dirt road... but, I also pulled a 2WD Ranger up a slippery slope that was a a bit of a tough road for most, without pulling anyone.

Now, the snow was only a few inches deep... so not a hard test today... but the mud was real... and slimey, too!

So far, I am VERY happy with my Dynapro ATm purcahse!

That story has been told a zillion times... Read the Mision Santa Maria trip report (with HB Murphy) back in May/June, 2010...

The short answer is: I as I slowly dropped off a ledge (on a 'road') the truck was just a weee bit too long and the bumper was grabbed and pulled way out... we managed to almost get it back to where it belonged.

P rated: normal use, lighter weight, lower price (the Rugged Trails are P rated)

LT rated: hauling big loads, camper on back, truck use... heavier tire, higher price.

You asked about the bumper, and that happened last year.

    Take Off, eh!

I just purchased a set of Dynapros ATm for mi sisters grand cherokee (new 245-75-16, had 265-75-16 BFG's Rugged trail from my old Taco before ) Struck a deal with the dude at Fletchers automotive, got them for $450 out the door! He also threw in 4 free oil changes, 1 alignment at mounting, lifetime balance and rotation. These tires look awesome. Honestly if i would of known about them I just might have just gone this direction.

I've had these tires for just over 1000 miles now. Great highway noise, much better grip that the Fails in the rain, and only briefly had to go up and down an icy road, but handled it well in 2wd. So far I'm very happy with them. Not to mention they were only $114 apiece!
