Read my posts on the Dynapros... a perfect Tacoma tire for most of us... 2 ply sidewall, if that matters (I don't know any tire with 1 ply sidewall at least none I would ever want).

I just got mine installed today. Had Bridgestone Dueler Revo2 265/70-16 tires. One of them got damaged beyond repair so had a warranty on them. Got a replacement free of charge for the one tire, got some credit for the other tires, and I upgraded to the Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/75-16 tires. The Discount Tire here in my area had some promotion going on with these tires priced at $102/ea. Heck of a deal for the tires if you ask me. Anyhow, I like the look and feel...hopefully I can give better feedback after some miles with them.

Ive been looking at the Michellin LTX and These...trying to get good HWY miles as most of my miles are on the HW..about 95%. But still wanted an aggressive looking tire.

I think ill pull the trigger on these, they look sweet! stupid question coming:
How do you specify the black writing on the sidewalls as opposed to the white writing? i dont like the look of the white letters, anyone know what I'm talking about?

    Thanks!

When you buy the tires you just let them know you want the black side out. That is normally how they mount tires... Not a lot of people care about advertising tire brands and not get paid to do so.

Oh, this is an old thread... but I did buy this tire a second time and they are on my truck now. They are 'cheap' tires, so don't expect a lot of miles as you would the LTX, which costs a LOT more.

Hmm, I was approaching 70k miles on my set and still had another 10k to go when I got rid of them.

That's amazing. Maybe it's a case that because I don't like flats or want some meat for treads, mine didn't last 35,000 miles before I replaced them?

Mine (second set) have 6,000 miles on them now and they still look great. If Lincoln's head isn't touched then the tires are too bald to drive, for me. I am talking about the Dynapro ATM, P Rated not LT and not the mud terrain tire they make. These are warrantied for 40,000 or 50,000 miles. No tire outlives a mileage warranty I have ever seen?

These are mine at 40k miles... tons of tread. I put another 24 I think and they still had plenty of safe tread. I always replace tires before they are worn out, I wouldn't risk my family.

I know three people, including me, who have run them. all of them lasted 50+ easy.

GREAT PICS, i would hope to get at least 50k out of these, i drive mostly paved roads...
when I look a these tires on Amazon, theres a couple of different designations after the tire size 265/75/16; 114t or 123r....what do these mean?

My opinions on the ATm's is they are an average tire at best

Once I have a second flat tire, I am ready to replace... The tread may have been close to your photo or less. 95% daily pavement driving, no mountain roads, tire inflation spot on at 34 psi per chalk testing. My first set were retired at 33,xxx miles... as I said once I got a second flat on the same tire. I don't have time for failure, which is not an option! LOL

Just got mine on, and man they changed everything the whole ride, love them so far tried them out last night. Little off road not much but was very happy with them. I had to go with 265 70 17 due to money I had to start all over.
Totaled my 05 that I had over 6 grand in just put new clutch, wheels, tires, it was charged, it was a beast, but hit black ice. But I found the same truck pretty much except it's a 12 and an auto.

Update... my second set of ATMs have been on over a year with 15,000 miles. They look quite good, wearing very even front and back, still looks like plenty of thread. Not one flat. Running them at 34 psi, all around. Seem perfect!

    Current photo (15,000 miles):

Just put on a set of these tires. Love them so far. Quiet and smooth and much lighter feeling than my bfg KO2's. One tire took quite a bit of weight to balance out according to the tech that mounted them. Its a non issue as it is smooth and balanced now.

I had a chance to run them in the heavy rain and they performed very well. No hydro planing and seemed to stop really well on wet pavement.

I too have been impressed with their all weather, all road performance. They really surprised me when I used them in snow and mud on how effortlessly they worked (or was it the A-TRAC and Toyota? LOL).
Anyway, their quiet highway noise and super deep sand performance (where I do most four wheeling) makes this inexpensive tire a natural go-to fo me. I am on my second set, separated by a period with PepBoys Dakota ATs on it.
