Getting ready for a tire upgrade. Trying to decide on which to go with. Either the Hankook or Michlien ....Both have 70k warranties. Have had it with the Yokohama's....just not happy with the way they are wearing. Thanks in advance for the advice.!

I have not had either but from all over heard and read. The ms2's are great tires and last a very long time

LTX, that's what I'm getting when my current michelin tires wear out.

Get the Michelin's you won't be dissapointed. My dad got over 100k on his set on a Tahoe.

Guess I'll change it up and recommend the Hankook's. I put Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my Tacoma just before winter hit this year. LOVE them. What a huge difference they made. I highly recommend them. I understand you're looking at a different model Hankook than what I put on but I shopped around quite a bit before buying them and everyone I talked to said these were the way to go.

The M/S 2's are the best road tire on the market. If you off road, than you would want the ATM's mentioned above.

One can never have too many light bars.
The Hankooks will be much cheaper than the Michelins although you get what you pay for.

This right here. LOVED the MS2's on my previous truck, have the ATM's on my taco for a little more aggressive tread, both are phenomenal tires.

LTX MX2 - I've had them on for 6 months, maybe 5500 miles with one rotation. No noticeable wear at all. They are about as good as you'll get in the snow without snow tires or mud tires - you'll rarely need 4x4 in snow. They were terrible on pure ice though, which I believe any unstudded tire would be. I didn't have any "ABS is Dangerous in Snow" concerns this past winter and didn't even slide with normal acceptable braking in the snow.

No impact to gas mileage that I've measured.

Exceptional traction that you can rely on in corners, and which also give you some traction back on hard acceleration. Improved steering and handling with no highway truck wandering as long as your mindful while steering. The only negative is the price. It also took about 500 miles for the treads to get worn in and lose the teany bit of squirellyness they had when new because of their depth. I also miss spinning and abusing the stock tires on purpose and getting her sideways in parking lots :( .

I put LTX AT/2's on my last truck and they still looked new when I sold the truck, the tires had about 60K on them at that point. I will get another set when I wear out the Rugged Fails on my current truck.

A buddy of mine got 100K out of a set of M/S Michelins on his Taco. I prefer the additional bite of the AT/2s. They are far more capable than the tread pattern might suggest and they wear almost as well as the M/S.

I know a guy with the MS2 on an F150. He LOVES them. He said they are the best all around tire he has ever owned. He doesn't touch anything off road other than a gravel road.

I went with Cooper Discovery AT2s I have a 1000 on them so far, and they feel great. Got a great price on them. I am happy. Didn't break the bank either.

I had Hankook tires on my Camry. They were amazing. 100k mile tread wear, great traction in the rain and snow.

i'm running the MS2's on both my 11 4wd TRD tacoma and a 12 4WD FJ. Smooth, quiet, and wear great. have 30K on tires on taco and show little wear and 40K on FJ with just a little more wear. Wouldn't have anything else.
