1999 2.7L 4x4 SR5......... Its time for tires, so I would welcome any feedback. Original door sticker had 225 75 15s. I have been using 31.50 for awhile now so going back as close to factory as I can. Truck is now a highway/paved roads aside from my gravel driveway way that can get a little gruted and muddy at times. I have been looking at Hannkook kinergy ST in 235 75 r15. Appreciate any feedback in advance!

No personal experience with that specific "model" of tires, but I've had 2 sets of Hankook Dynapro's and they served me well.

No feedback on the tires themselves, but be wary of trusting the door sticker. Basically all of them list 225/75/R15 even though most didn't actually come with that size tire. What tire size are you currently running? If you move to a 235/75/R15 but your stock tire size was actually 265/75/R15 then your speedometer may end up reading about 6% faster than you are actually driving.

Have been running 31x10.50 15s for years. I may have to run it by the roadside radar and see if there is a difference its certainly gonna look different and drive different.

When I worked at the tire shop I found out that Hankooks are a South Korea firm and had a partnership with...Michelin. I don't know if this is still true as that was over 12 years ago, but they were made in an old Michelin factory. I sold a bunch of them with no issues, and ran them on my little truck for a long time.

I had a set of AT2's on an F150. Longest wearing tire I've had but you pay for it with less grip. The tread compound was very hard and had terrible traction in wet weather.

Good tire but I think the Yokohama Geolander is a better tire. Very reasonable tire.

I think Hankook makes good tires. I currently have Falkens, but I would have no problem running Hankooks.

I always think of the episode of Lifestyle Overland where he had the new hankook MT’s on and after 1 trip through Utah they were all punctured and bunged right up. If my memory is correct he only put like 4K miles on them and went on to something else. But I know a few ppl that love the AT2’s.
