    Yeah no doubt there are idiots out there, and the community has a duty to encourage responsible use. But my brother .. may he RIP .. was a cop for 13 years, and he always said he'd rather deal with a stoner than a drunk any given day.

    For that matter the vast majority of stoners he arrested were arrested, not because they were misbehaving or otherwise out of control or a threat to the public, but rather because they were dumb enough to smoke in the public space. Discretion is key. But otherwise, he generally found them amiable and cooperative .. that is unless they were also drinking.

    As for the drunks - beligerant, abusive, and vomited all over the back of his car.
