Its gonna be just like booze man. Not everyone is smart with it. Rarely are people sensible with it. Even if/when weed does become legal its still going to be over used by some people but I don't think the user base will enlarge that much though. Most people that want to use it now find a way to get it. It may even go down once it becomes a legal substance.

Lol its human to want something that you can't have! Once you can have it you don't want it anymore!:rolleyes:

I agree with this completely but it goes for alcohol and most other drugs, prescription or not.

I know that if they made Marijuana legal and outlawed alcohol that a lot less people would be dying each year.

Kind of a mute point when people can hold their own on either. There is no evil in booze or the smoke as long as the user behaves and acts proper.

when they made it legal in Amsterdam crime rates went down, and education went up... If you read or watch videos with cops in Amsterdam they all agree that it was a very good decision on the governments part to make it legal.

    +1

Almost EVERY negative aspect of marijuana is caused by the fact that it has been made illegal. The day it becomes legal POOF! 90% of the problems vanish into thin air!

I think that possibly one of the most damaging affects of the government's stance is they've completely lost their credibility. Our government tells people that weed is just as bad as cocaine, heroin, and meth. When people finally find out they were 100% wrong/lying, they might think "Why wouldn't I believe they're lying about cocaine, heroin, and meth too?" Shit happens when the big brother cries wolf too much.

What I find so funny about the debate on this is I know about 10 cops in the town I live in and they have no problem with going out and drinkin all night then get in there cars and drive home, but the'll pop some poor bastard for burnin a hooter somewhere and act like the did the world a favor..

And for the record I've had BOTH my doctors tell me to go ahead and smoke it after takin vicodin for the last 20 years for my body failing which they can't fix it was the only thing that helped, and my VA doc said used it for my ptsd.. just my 02

Well, I had a great 420. Smoked a litle and drank a little. And yes I do still have a job/career. My company was acually founded by potheads. They admitt that they still smoke.
As far as driving while drunk or high. Driving with a smartphone or while talking on a cell can be just as dangerous. CAN BE! Being Hammered is def worse. Dont flame me.

So by this logic we should only injest heroin intravenously?

As it is the least lethal drug...

What is an "effective" dose, as suggested in the title? Maybe Marijuana would be a higher ratio if there wasn't so much shit weed out there and more "effective" doses.
