As I write this it is now the 7th. Hope everyone had a nice holiday. We should not lose sight of why we are here in our free country, thanks to our veterans!

On another note, to those who live in large neighborhoods, do you think it ok for neighbors to light commercial quality fireworks up to 10:30 at night? I get celebrating and all but should this be acceptable? How about the pets in the neighborhood?

My humble opinion is it should not be allowed, what do you all think?

    BTW, I am getting old.

potential fire hazards for sure! hot stuff landing on rooftops or parched grass can light up a blaze real quick

Seeing as how it is more than likely highly illegal to set off commercial fireworks on your street, it's also annoying, and unsafe.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe "scare the shit out of everyone's dogs day" :D

Back when I had a pup, we just got in the habit of going camping over the 4th. Most NF and state parks don't allow any type of fireworks. Pup is gone now, but we still end up going camping.

I don't have a problem with anyone trying to keep their trucks looking sharp. I certainly don't try with mine anymore, but I appreciate the work other people do to keep a shiny truck.

However, I think the person who has posted about "rope hooks" at least 65 times (yes, I searched) is giving the rest of us a difficult time about it...
