246 years ago the Declaration of our independence was sign . Good thing or would be speaking “British “. Not English. Kidding.

They say we will eat 150 million Hotdogs on July 4, 2022. BBQs for sure! Colonists brought pies from Europe, so eating pies are popular as well as ice cream for the 4th.
Bubweiser at one time was the most popular beer at the BBQs, the icon Solo red cups is still associated to the Fourth of July celebration. Solo cups is own by Tupperware.

When America broke away from England , The colonists didn’t want to do the same things as the English did.
Reason we drive on the right hand side of the roads!
Our horse races runs counter clock wise , we did not to conform to English standards.
We use inches, feet pounds, ounces, quarts, gallons , instead of metric, liters ,km
    Please add more!

Why do they say put your “John Hancock” on the sales form when you brought your Tacoma!
Anyone who sign the Declaration , risk hanging from the King of England. John Hancock wrote his name almost twice as large then everyone else, to send a message to the King.

BE SAFE! Enjoy the Fourth of July.!

As Ben Franklin was walking out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787,
someone shouted out, “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?”

To which Franklin supposedly responded, with a rejoinder at once witty and ominous: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

With all of its glory AND faults, I think we should keep it... what say ye ?

Take risks, go wild, live your life, test your boundaries. Safety is overrated. The USA would not exist if the founders didn’t like a little danger in their lives.

I had the hardest time playing with a ball that had two pointed ends. (Football).
Most of the balls I had were round? Ok kidding …

Hawaii we grew up with RED color hotdogs. More of a culture thing, the local Hotdog manufacturers found the Red color in the Hot dogs were much more appealing to the People of hawaii. Vs the plain looking hotdogs.
Google - Chinese Char Stu pork. A local Hawaiian flavorite food.( Red).

Nebraska has a red hotdog - Winner meat. North Carolina Red hotdog - Bright Leaf Brand.

Red , White , and Blue is America’s true colors. America’s colonists were made of immigrants looking for a better life.

2019 44.9 million immigrants ( foreign born) comprise 14% of our national population.

The first immigrants to America? We’re the Europeans. Even the native Indians migrated to North America.

So if you want all the immigrants to leave? Everyone must leave? You can use the Tacoma truck? Lol

No hotdogs on the grill , just some grill Teriyaki Steaks. Ever grill a Teritaki Salmon?

    Enjoy the Fourth!

Interesting note here on the “fifth amendment “-
    Protect against self-incrimination
The right to a grand jury
    Forbids double jeopardy
Compensation it’s citizens,if the government takes your land for public use.

If the wife asks you? Take the “fifth”. …on the next mod you added?

Scott, was the 1st brand to put toilet paper on a roll. This could have only happened in a country as great as America. If you go to their website and look into their history. You will see a roll of toilet tissue displayed hanging by the over method, verifying that is the correct way to mount the toilet paper roll. These guys invented the toilet paper roll.

Even if you prefer the under method, of mounting your toilet paper roll. Please for the love of all things American! For one day out of the year, in celebration of the greatest nation on earth's Birthday! Hang your toilet paper the proper way, OVER! Instead of under.

Where do you think the all American phrase, Over The Top: came from?

    Happy Independence Day!

The first 4x4? Depends who is writing the story, and what is call a 4x4 system use. I found the first built and patented 4wheel drive was in 1824 by Burstall and Hill Steam Coach

Another mentions Joseph Diplock in 1893 a British engineer.
1902 the Dutch brothers first FULL -time called the Spijker.
Around 1902 Fernand Porche first 4x4 petroleum-electric hybrid

    Please more info’s?

    Also found on google..

In 1492 when Europeans first showed up 100% of North America was Native land. Population estimates range from 900,000 to 18,000,000 north of the Rio Grande

In 1851 the US government started the Indian Appropriations Act which created Native American Reservations. They were "given" roughly 50% of the country for sovereign territory, forced there by gunpoint

In 1950 the percentage of reservation land had shrunk to just 2%.

Is this when the Americans government became the “Indian Givers”?
    —————-
Scientists once believe 15,000 years ago, the first American Natives descended from a single group of migrants cross the Asian land bridge to the America’s. Later studies added two more subsequent migration that added to the genetic contribution.

American Indians came from Asia. ( migration). Today they are refer to as the “indigenous people of America’s.
