Hello! I just made a big move up from a '01 Dakota 5.9L 4x4. Nearly doubled my fuel economy in mixed driving, and am in a more capable and dependable rig altogether. Purchased used with 25k miles and no upgrades... Yet.

Just ordered a Leer 100XR canopy, will be adding a roof rack and CVT tent to the Leer, and a basket of some sort on top of the truck cab. I love the Gobi's (and similar) but not looking to break the bank, any good suggestions for getting a decent basket with mounting system for under $500 or so? Might try to fab my own mounting brackets for the OEM mounting points and get a generic basket, anyone tried that yet?

I'm thinking about adding a small lift/leveling kit to the front and either Timbren Suspension helpers or airbags to the back (I tow lots of trailers, and occasionally up to about 5k lbs), any suggestions there? I enjoy overlanding, but likely won't get into a whole lot of serious offroad situations given I will be towing my Teardrop Camper most of the time.

I'm pumped about joining your excellent forum, thanks in advance for all the tips/tricks!
