Is the 215 new as well? If not, what are your thoughts on it?

I can’t justify those prices for the amount I will use the welder.

I had a Chicago Electric fluxcore MIG welder. It fell apart in my hand on my first project and welded like crap. The Titanium MIG 140 is what you want.

These Vulcan heavy-duty welding cabinets are so nice to hold all your welding and fabricating equipment. Very sturdy and well made. I originally had the Lincoln on a small single tray cart. I picked up that Harbor Freight Titanium plasma cutter and am glad I upgraded the cart at the same time to hold everything instead of just throwing the plasma in a corner somewhere. Time to go shopping for a TIG welder now.

I have the same trepidations about jack stands... no matter where they are bought or manufactured. But HF, Pep Boys, and Autozone are all on my list of places to avoid if I'm worried about safety.

The 125 is legit to and if its not used often it doesn't make sense to have to buy gas also.

I just bought a second set of these, have been impressed with the quality and extra locking pin.

The listing on Amazon says used, but both of my sets have arrived in a totally destroyed box with what looks like new jack stands inside.

I'm guessing they can't sell these as new because the boxes are so beat up.

FWIW the Titanium 140 gives the option of starting out with flux core, then later upgrading to gas if desired. (Can also switch back to flux core if say you took it to a buddy’s place to fix something)

My local HF store still didn't have 6 ton jack stands in stock. ???
I ended up buying the portable tire changer with my gift card. Knocked out two trailer tires in 30 minutes. (first tire took 25 minutes, second tire took 5, LOL) Next day did two 265X70X16 tires for a friends Tacoma.
I went to Walmart and picked up a set of Torin Black Jack 6 ton jack stands for $50. They look strong and actually used them today.

If I had looked at this thread earlier as I would have bought the Pro-Lift jack stands also.

I'm pretty sure they discontinued almost all of their jack stands after the fiascos. All they have online anymore is the 3 ton aluminum ones. I wonder if they'll ever reintroduce a line. Maybe daytona instead of pittsburgh branded.
