This is literally one of my favorite tools that I have from Harbor Freight! The Ball joint Separator tool. After doing a bunch of suspension installations without it, it makes life so much easier especially getting the UCA ball joint to separate from the spindle! Clutch tool!

Heard mixed reviews. Some people said it took a shit right away others said it lasts a long time as long as you don’t lean into it too much. Been thinking about it too.

More expensive than the actual band saw. :notsure:
I've looked in their website but I don't think they have one that fits the Bauer one. :pout:

True. That's the first thing I thought about to be honest.

$140 something OTD with 2 years +90 days replacement warranty. On the band saw that is. I can care less about the light.

A friend has the 21 gal and haven’t had any issues. I’ve used it a couple of times and can say I’m impressed.

I have the 21-gallon oiled air compressor, which needs to have the proper gauge extension cord. The owner's manual states a 14 gauge can be used for 25', but I was tripping the reset button on the compressor, so ended up going the next size up to a 12 gauge and hope that solves it tripping the reset button when used a lot. It's better to go with a thicker gauge extension than a smaller gauge for the health of the compressor.

Thanks guys. Going back and forth on getting the harbor freight 21 or 30 or just spending the money on a husky 20 or 30. Only need it to use a paint sprayer and texture gun and some other small things now but will eventually get a plasma (needs 4scfm at 80 psi) which is pushing both the 20 gallon ones.

As a carpenter, I wouldn’t bother buying any pneumatic guns or a power tool from them, I’ve seen guys who use them and they’re throw away crap.

They just aren’t going to hold up day after day to rain, dust, dirt and being dropped like Makita or DEWALT, those tools are more expensive for a reason.

Some of their tools are a bargain and pretty awesome, I have their 20 ton shop press, it was less than $200 and I’ve used it tons to press bearings, lug studs, you name it. Beware though, the arbor plates are cast shit that shatter and can take an eye out.

Some stuff is hard to screw up, their electrical volt meter for like $20 has been great, as well as little things like an illuminated curcuit tester and a set of picks.

A coworker runs their pneumatic 20 ton bottle jack hooked up to his JD2 tubing bender with their 21 gallon compressor running it out of his shop, works for him

He also has some of their clamps, air hoses and some other stuff that are complete throw away trash

I usually go off recommendations so this is a great thread, but at the same time it pisses me off that they produce a lot of Chinese shit that just ends up in a landfill, total waste culture.

I gotta laugh, cause my hammer was $200- but it weighs 15 ounces and is guaranteed for life- after 40 anything that spares the joints is worth the cost.FBBED59D-32CD-47D3-A43A-12F1D3583718.jpg
