Cant see the video above (love government computers), but if it's this one you're talking about, I love mine. I did modify the top to let me open the drawers while the lid is closed.

I think you are over thinking it. If it was the SnapOn or Matco guys, yeah, they should be doing a reach around to keep you happy. This is HF were are talking about. Coupons and fine print drive the foot traffic and are pretty much gone everyplace else.

A few SnapOn guys would meet for Friday breakfast at the same time that our little group of riders used to meet. I overheard only one or two complaints about customers in the three years that I was going. Usually, just the typical corporate BS.

Wow on the DA polisher! Warning that there are two maybe three different model numbers floating out the now (62403 / 62862 / 69924). There was a YouTube vid about the differences between one of them and the 69924. The 69924 is generally heavier with sealed bearings instead of shielded. I was sure to grab that one.

The backing place was crooked as noted in other videos, but it was good enough to use. I did not have a problem with the HF pads coming off or coming apart. I was able to use one orange pad to fix both the pinstripes on the right side of the Taco and pretty much the entire Forester except the roof. All I can say is wow.

I used Meguiars Fine Cut (No 2) for the Taco since I will get more pinstripes and No 105 for the Forester. They both came out looking stellar. It floored a neighbor who was walking by and thought that I was destroying the paint. All the areas that I hit came out with a mirror finish. Someone could only find the scratches if they knew were they were to start with.

Now, I just to upgrade the backing plate. I will get a 6in and 3in. I just need to talk myself into getting something other than another HF orange pad. I can't see a reason not to stick with it.

Going to also +1 this tool box. I have the original one (the one where the lid doesnt open full 90* but that has never bothered me at all) and its a freaking awesome box. well worth every penny and she looks good too!

This m , and eligible for the 20% or 25% coupons--it will help you read the fine print of them as well (makes a 1/2 way decent flashlight as well):

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Not to be rude, but why are you mad at the poor guy making $10/hour trying to enforce the companies rules? You sir are in the wrong by trying to take advantage. I'm not saying we all haven't done it, and are also wrong. The coupon clearly states one per customer per day. He's just doing his job.

That is debatable... that's you opinion. I got mine.
I don't care how much he makes... Customer spending is what keeps this country moving.

And whats messing this country up is people not taking responsibilities for their own actions. It's always someone else's fault. You are trying to take advantage, he called you out, you are wrong. It's not debatable. Again, not saying we all haven't done it. Stick your tail between your legs and walk out.

I'm not (didn't) over thinking nothing. Yes it is cheap shit. I would expect same customer service from a Ferrari dealership as from a Ford dealership. Its the principle, many people don't get it. I do undersand that some people don't get, not because they don't want to understand but because they're just are ignorant.

So if you went to Home Depot with a coupon that clearly states 1 per customer per day, do you get pissed when they say No?
