Got this bicycle pulley lift, got it up after much work. Holds my recumbent bike fine in the garage, getting it out of the weather where I had it on the porch. Now, do I really trust that little nylon rope to not break and send it crashing down on my car parked underneath. Wattya think all?

I've got 4 of those holding bikes above the cars. I would worry about some goof using drywall screws or some such shit before I'd worry about the rope.

I agree...from personal experience they are absolute complete garbage. The only thing they are good for is giving you blood blisters and giving you the power of recalling cuss words that you had previously forgotten existed...

right, and the screws provided by the manufacturer will not reach the stud, only drywall, after going through the mounting bracket, had to provide my own bolts with same thread and diameter used on common bicycle hangers, oops gotta go, heard a loud crash out in the garage, no, so far I like it now that I finally figured it out. I'm reminded now and again why engineering was not a good major for me

I’ve had my IR2235 for a few years. Use it everyday with heavy commercial use. Not one damn issue. Just pour a little engine oil in it and keep the nose greased. It’s got some balls.

But honestly, I don't think I will buy another air impact wrench. The battery versions have plenty of "Ugga Dugga".

I have my snap on battery impact for side jobs and stuff like that. It works great. But when it comes to battery impacts go with lithium ion, not nicad batteries

If you are a man and buy nicad tools you should have your man card revoked. These are the same people that have corded weed wackers and blowers.

You mean somebody has a lawn mower that uses the same source of energy as a vibrating dildo? What sorcery do you speak of?

I acquired an Ingersol Rand die grinder. Top notch stuff. Used it everyday on the job, and now I'd use it at home if I could find a decent air compressor that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
