On that note, anyone order something off of HF’s website and get it shipped? Next order of those jacks come in next Thursday, think if I order it will get here faster?

Im sure it varies by areas. No way they would do that here since its against county rules for them to accept that much at once. The dump has 55 gallon drums and you are supposed to only dump a max of 5 gallons there. The haz waste (which is right next to the dump) takes anything but theres a point where you have to make an appointment for it so they can be ready.

Ive ordered before and it usually takes a week. But probably depends where they ship it from and stuff

    This thing?

I didn't know they offered this version. From the looks of it, perhaps this model has only recently become available. The yellow Daytona had been out for a little while now and it's absolutely beastly.

What's the go-to sub 100$ jack here? I made the mistake of buying a jack kit from AAP that requires a 4x4 to get my tires off the ground :(

It's less Tacoma and more mod
My vote is for the $89 Arcan jack at Costco, but folks here like the various Daytona models as of late and of course the usual 3ton silver steel behemoth.

Yeah, I think it’s pretty new. Literally the only one they were out of, had tons of yellow Daytona’s, and they’re not the same at all, this one is lower profile then the yellow and of course 35in long. Another huge advantage this one has over all the others is it’s got a foot pump built in, it just uses the main arm as a fulcrum and pumps easily using your foot. Takes 5 or 6 pumps to full height, almost 2 feet. I couldn’t wait for them to get a shipment in till next Thursday so I just ordered it online... it was more expensive though
Not very fair for me to pay more for an item there out of in store and the first one I got was broken...

Does anyone know what this is? The elderly lady I bought my truck off of gave it to me. We both have no idea. The head swivels around also.
The only tool thread I know if. Don’t think it’s A HF tool lol

ditto, would make sense being you need either a nice 3/4in impact or something with lots of leverage to properly tighten or take off a ball.

I jinxed myself. Mine burned up yesterday after about 3 years. Looks like I'm spending another 15 bucks next HF vist:D

Maybe I'll splurge and get the
    $21 version

I've been taught to heat the barrel and other high friction areas with a heat gun before lubing with paste. Might be a waste of time but supposedly it helps open the pores of the metal for better lubrication retention.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I'm not sure what the difference is between the orange and yellow, but I have the yellow Daytona and am happy with it. Don't know how it will fare as far as longevity is concerned as I've only had it like 4 or 5 months. Seems well built as it's pretty heavy. Has several grease zerts in moving areas, the handle stays in place and has some foam on it to protect bumpers. Also, it lets you lower slowly, unlike my last jack that would just drop. I don't regret getting it.
