Does the HF ball joint press work on a Tacoma? Like does it have the correct adapters and what not? I think my ball joints are good but I might get this press next time I have a HF coupon.

Made sure to search this thread before reposting. But I agree, I bought these bits this weekend for drilling 3/4 inch bar stock with a 1 inch hole. Took quite some time due to my batteries overheating on the drill constantly but the bits performed flawlessly. A drill press would be much better for these bits if I had to guess. But a hand drill will work if you don't mind your wrists being bruised.

The adaptors are not the correct size for removing 2nd gen LBJs. I know that much.

Anyone used one of these? Need to rivet some hasps to my Truck tool box so no more tools get stolen. Had all my tools taken Sunday afternoon in broad daylight and had to go buy all new Monday. I'd just run screws but I feel like the box walls are too thin to hold them on from people prying on them.

HF rivet tools work fine, but their rivets are total garbage. Buy better rivets.

I have their black 4 drawer tool cart and love it. As far as I know their Pittsburgh hand tools have a lifetime warranty on them.

    good to know.

Lowes doesn't carry them in store due to being a high theft item apparently. That's where I got my masterlock magnum locks and hasps.

I would recommend the air riveter from HF. Used it on a hundred or so rivets. If you have a decent compressor it is way easier.

It works awesome. I bought a 100 pack of their 3/16" rivets and they work great. Haven't bothered with the supplied ones yet. I would definitely recommend it.

Does anyone know if HF sells a paint booth tent? My searches aren't yielding anything.

You could seal a portable garage from them and use a couple fans for ventilation, but I don’t think they make a paint booth.

Shelter Logic does, I think. With fans.

HF has a couple of tents that could probably be turned into paint booth tents. It might be cheaper to use pvc pipe and plastic.
