Wonder how well these would stick to the door sills? Thinking I ought to put something there to protect the paint as some of the top coat has been rubbed off by the previous owner (just grey primer showing through).

There is a guy on here gtech fab who sells a sill cover. I have them on my '11 since I bought new in 2010. I use the truck for fishing and often have sand/grit attached to wading boots and use sill to lean on to get off. They have held up really well with some powder coat just now starting to wear away in a few places, but the metal sill plates themselves are fine. I will paint once the weather gets warm again. I don't know what they cost anymore, but based on my experience they are exact fit and worth the money.

I'm really digging the microfiber cloths that are free. these things work great for drying dishes. I can't believe how much water they will absorb before they need running out. It doesn't make sense to me how they can dry and dry.

I just wash and waxed my Tacoma before the cold set in and used the free microfiber cloths to dry it off and them being free makes the shine even brighter.

I stop getting the free flashlights and finally bought the Quantum high output 588 Lumen Tactical Flashlight for $8.99 this past weekend. I find myself always using this with the free batteries as well as the Quantum headlight that is equally as great.

Yeah, I talked to him a while back. 90 bucks for all 4 for those plus shipping last we talked. These are only two bucks and some change a piece. No doubt the sill plates would look better, I'm just cheap!

Will have to check them out.

The rubber gloves there are pretty good. I usually get 9mm or 7mm

This light is pretty bad ass. The comparable brand is the big larry I think. Which cost $25.
This light with the coupon is a steal.

Although I don't like shopping at HF.
Chicago electric (Chicago China of course)

I have a pair of Craftsman dikes that don’t cut a thing.

I can use full force of both hands, pressed against a knee.. still can’t cut a zip tie.

I agree about the nitrile gloves, there is a pack of them by my back door when I need to do some project.

I must have gone through at least 60 pairs of these gloves and just love them for the price. Here => gloves.jpg

While not giving the light the higher priced light you mentioned gives, it is great for what it is and the best part is that you can just replace the AA batteries without needing a higher priced lithium.

You got it backwards. NiCad AA batteries are going to be far more expensive compared to an 18650 li-Ion battery for the lifetime of the tool.

Can also confirm those yellow gloves are great for the money just don't leave them in the sun for more than a day or the latex turns to glue

Yeah, bought one this summer with a coupon for 45$. Did some paint correction on wifes SUV and did a one step on my taco, no issues at all, works great. ITs the pads and compound that makes the difference, for me anyway.

You’re really missing out then. Cordless tools have come a long way in the last 3 years.

Edit: I’m referring to name brand cordless tools, not HF.

The blue insulated ones are on sale right now for $1.99- bottom of the page: I looked at them today but couldn't figure out what I'd do with them. They were grippy though. I grabbed a couple more of the gray plastic ammo cans since there's a coupon out for them as well. They work great for storing boxes of screws and nails.

Yeah, these gloves don't like to be in my truck heat wise, but they have saved me from getting my hands cut up a few times.

No, you got it double backwards because I get all my AAA and AA batteries free with a Harbor Freight coupon, so I pay zero + I never have to wait for them to recharge too. They aren't the greatest batteries, but I have so many freebies I just replace them when needed. I have 2 of these flashlights and like it for small projects and with the magnet on the end makes them very handy.
