The saw. First issue. As somebody else mentioned before the blade is shit. I put it to the test, 20+ cuts 2x2x1/8 square tubing. Couldn't keep up.

Get some Lennox blades, they’re like $20 for a three pack. Be sure to choose the correct TPI for the material you’re cutting.

Lowes had them on sale recently for $17. For the stuff i see you build, you should be fine with 14 tpi.

I actually haven’t even had time to use mine yet. might try tomorrow.

Hopefully it’s just due to the POS factory blade.

I picked up both of these lights after realizing that I have a ton of flashlights, but no versatile worklights. The smaller $5 light I figure I couldn't go wrong with being so inexpensive. I'll keep it in the truck. The Braun light I've heard good reviews about. It's currently on sale for $25 until the end of today, but this coupon brings it down to $20. Or use the 20% off coupon. Anyone use a torque wrench from HF? $10 right now is hard to pass up for the two times per year I may or may not use it.

Thanks for the cross reference on the calibration! I'll go ahead and pull the trigger.

They aren't very well diffused, but both have high and low settings and the swivel head works great to keep the light from blinding you while still illuminating the workspace very well. I just used both today to install new backup lights in my rear bumper and they worked well underneath the bumper.

I've used one for over 20yrs. I once had a friend calibrate it. He said it was right on. A few years back, I rechecked it with my digital torque adapter. Still great.

I had a similar one (different brand). It would bow in the center pretty bad with all 185 pounds of me to the point where I was dragging it in the garage instead of rolling on the casters. Highly doubt the HF one is any better. Save your money for one with a perimeter metal frame.

I have the red one. I think they changed the design/color. One caster came off cause loose hardware but I was able to fix it. Other than that no issues. 190# here.

I have that exact same one. 170lbs here and no problems.

I also had the older version, an orange one. Even though the gray one is supposed to be an upgrade, I didn't have any problems with that one either -- until I ran it over with my Tacoma.

It’s a narrow blade band saw. That’s just what they do.
