I made a posting a while ago about a flashlight that seemed to be a great buy, but I'm reporting back that you get what you pay for and for anything beyond very light use, I wouldn't recommend buying it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352550910979




I would rate it almost the same quality has the HF Quantum 588 Lumen Tactical Flashlight. flashlight, which just doesn't hold up over time for anything but light use.

 

I finally stepped up my flashlight fetish game and bought a Sofirn SP31 V2.0 Powerful Tactical LED Flashlight. This flashlight has great reviews and IMO you get a lot for your money and will definitely outlast all of the above flashlights combined. Amazon lists it for 35.99 which many people say is 1/3 the price of equivalent quality flashlight, but right now they are on sale at AliExpress for $22.94 for flashlight, battery, and charger and with the $3.00 coupon being a first time customer it would only cost $19.94 which is really a great buy for the quality/longevity you will get from it. It was such a great buy I have bought a few and think I will be one of those buys that will pay for itself in the long run.

My haul last night. Around $50 with coupons (thanks again icetreye) plus insurance on the impact. Free LED light too.

Used them this morning to change my brakes and rotate my tires. Worked perfectly.

 

Keep saving those little lights, sooner or later you’ll be able to do some serious stuff with them.
