I have the 3 and 6 ton stands and all 3 sizes of torque wrench. You'll be pleased with all of them if you're an average joe home gamer.

Yeah you want to get at least the 6 ton for the height, the 3 ton would probably wouldn't do much more than keep the tires off the ground on a stock Tacoma.

I know it's more money but is this a better buy than the HF one, that's much smaller, for $220? My shop is almost finished so I need to buy another tool chest, air compressor & a few other items.

That's the same cost as a 44 in box at HF not on sale. Some of those drawers look a little handier sized for hand tools, but I would go for a HF 44 over this

I have never used the HF Line of boxes, but I have had a top box by husky for several years with no issue. I used to load it up in the back of the corolla and take it to the auto hobby shop on base a few days a week. I love it. I got the bottom box on sale around Christmas and only had one complaint that is my fault. I bought a floor model with a dent for a 10% discount plus a 10% military/veteran discount. Got home and realized it was locked. Had to return it and got a brand new one for the same price. Always check for keys!

Come on clown, I dont need to make up internet stories, my life is way cooler than that. since you have doubts on my story. He was the type of dude who is overly helpful & asked if there were any problems when I started bitching. So yep I told him almost verbatim what I wrote.

Having manhandled both while deciding on a box, the HF ones are remarkably well made. Seemed a skooch better than the husky boxes, but they are pretty skookum too.

This is the only 44" I can find. It's $100 more and holds less. Is this the one?

You're right, it is 499. I was thinking it was 399. You can find them on sale for $439 pretty often though.

They hold a crapload of stuff, but I do like that second deeper drawer on the box you posted.

I have both the 3 and 6 tons. I use the 6 tons a lot since they can reach my slider legs and have the reach to get my tires off the ground. The 3 tons still have their place though, use them under the rear axel all the time and front crossmember as insurance whenever I get underneath the front end.

I like this better. I am a sucker for orange, but you get a lot of storage and a top to work on. I like the long top drawer and split layout of this.

The 6 ton stands are the perfect height for lifted Tacomas. I have both 6 and 3 ton and the 3 tons aren't tall enough to support the truck with lifted suspension unloaded (for tire removal). I think 12 ton is a smidge overkill, but if you use them a lot or work on a lot of lifted trucks with funky suspension (LT, SUA, etc), then it might be worth it.

I had to do a bunch of tree clean up yesterday. I found this Harbour Freight electric pole saw in my dad's shed I'll be honest, figured it would be a piece of crap.
But it worked awesome. Was slicing right through branches that would take a while with a manual pole saw!

Everything was going great, till my buddy was using it and he showed me the chain popped off. Unfortunately the screw that adjusts the length of the bar backed out. We looked on the ground but couldn't find it. I'll have to see if I can get something at the hardware store.....

If I can't find a bolt in will buy another of these for $54 after coupon!

Called my local store and they have 1 in stock aside from the floor unit. They're now holding it for me and I'm buying it tonight. Stoked, it'll match alllll my vehicles (Truck and three motorcycles)

just be prepared to do routine wipe downs of the box. It's very nice though.
