Buy and post feedback.... don't like it, return it.

YouTube the item(s), I'm sure there's plenty of videos that will give you a better idea of what to expect.

For the price of Harbor Freight's newer lines of cordless tools such as Bauer or Hercules, you can get a Dewalt on sale for the same or not much more .
https://slickdeals.net/f/13418947-d...-ring-battery-139-free-shipping?src=frontpage (which is a today only sale)
The similar Bauer model is $79 with no battery or charger, 3.0A battery (smaller than the 5A Dewalt example) is $40 and charger is $22 for a total of $141 (and Bauer is excluded from the 20%-25% off coupons).
Harbor Freight only does 90 day warranty (you can buy an extended warranty from them) vs Dewalt is 1 year.
Home Depot runs pretty regular sales on Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc if you sign up for their daily deal emails or keep an eye on slickdeals.net
I'm a fan of many Harbor Freight tools and they have their place but their newer lines of tools are overpriced compared to name brands in my opinion.

This is such a great idea.
TW should have some sort of Great Ideas thread.

Extremely easy to use, extremely quick, and just like anything else if you're not paying attention you can really cause a lot of damage by shoving it into a wiring harness. Other than that it's just too great to not use. Just a few seconds to cut the grommet and put the wire(s) through it.

One of the reasons I bought the Hakko was the ability to vary the temp of the tip. My Hakko takes less than a minute to get up to the hottest temp. Really quick!

That's awesome. My cheapest available Weller is equally quick but has no temp adjustment. It hasn't been an issue since the 6 or 7 years I've had it. It came with 3 tips, a flat blade, a point, and a torch type tip. I love these cordless butane irons. I've used several different types and definitely not just for soldering.

Are these McGraw Compressors new? I don't remember them before. Seems like a decent compressor.
