Jacks yes jackstands no is my rule for HF.

I have a TQ wrench because I hardly need it, I have a better TQ wrench for my bicycles which is a lower range that cars typically don't see.

I have a set of tools (ratchet, socket, etc) dedicated for oil changes that I toss on a shelf in a plastic bin and don't care if they're oil coated. HF is great for that.

Those 11" clamps actually sell out near the first of everything on that discount in the actual store. I have been looking for those since last summer lol.

Interesting. I am rarely in that aisle lately. I got the ratcheting box ends a few years ago and line wrenches for the ADM. Usually, I'm cruising the pneumatic fittings and buffing pads. Trying to get out without other deals.

Yep, and the current price is actionable.

Completely worth it. I paid $20 for the 1/2in. It was the only one they offered at the time and was proven more accurate than my in-lb Craftsman where they overlap.

Thanks I ordered that 1/2" torque meter and a few other things. Ground shipping was $6.99, more than Prime, but for the right items HF can't be beat. I was waiting for that Braun 390 Lumen rechargeable worklight to hit $17 again but that seems rare in retrospect so I added that for $25 which is still worth it. I'll post up when the stuff arrives as a test of their shipping time.

I am looking forward to your thoughts on the torque adapter.

I have the $5 Braun light and it has been great. Had it at least a year and it is still on the original batteries. Hell, those blue, free lights are pretty killer since they switched to surface mount LEDs.

    Enjoy the toys!

    I have the 3/8 version.
Use it for torquing beadlocks, lugs and other fasteners on my quad. Got it early last summer, use it a lot. No problems so far.

    Just gave this a workout.
    Works great!

What are some good applications for that plastic welder? At 80W it could surely melt some things, I guess it would outshine bondo, hot glue, jb weld, or epoxy putty when you need vibration tolerance, fast curing time, and waterproof— like a thermoplastic water reservoir or ATV body plastic. Anything else?

Especially camo, known for being brittle.

Would also work on our stock front bumpers etc

Same principle except with wand instead of heat gun.

Melted the steel mesh in. Covered and blended with the fill on the backside of the fender.

Pulled the superglue (doh) and 2part epoxy that didnt work and just finished welding the outside.

    1st time welding plastic.
Theres better options, but not for $16 bucks ;)

Take your time, let the wand do its job, dont push too hard or itll bend and break off and fall down your neck in your hoodie.

Oh, and watch your pantleg when you have the wand on the ground and your legs are under your quad.

    Other than that,
    Really happy with the result.
Those cracks aren't going anywhere now.
    Thanks hf!

    Thanks

I thought the epoxy my brother swears by and got me would work.

Not a fair test on thermoplastic.
The more I learned about repairing it and flexed mine after it dried the more I could tell it just wasnt going to hold up to the abuse Im going to give it.

    Great stuff btw

Anybody used these cameras? Need some for around the house to monitor my neighbor who feels the need to ride his go cart in my yard after telling him multiple times not to. Also want to keep an eye on my shed where I keep my four wheeler and lawn care stuff.

I really could have used this tool when I did the exact type of repair on my factory flares. When I removed them to paint them, the thin little wall the holds the clips in place broke, a lot ! I came up with my own version of this, torch, metal tool, metal screen and PVC tubing. You can see on the first page of my 'a little restoration' thread.

This system is low resolution and I would guess it has poor night vision performance. If you take the time to set up cameras, I really like the Amcrest IP67 POE 4MP 131 ft night vision cameras on Amazon with using Blue Iris on a laptop as a controller. Blue Iris is an incredible value and I have never had a problem with it. It also has a great phone app for monitoring in real time and reviewing recordings and configuration.

Srry to hear about your torque wrench and bar, take em back.

    And yes flares too.

Watched a vid a guy modified a stock airbox.
    Yep, kayak vids too.

Cant wait to try it on my next broken sunglasses.
Have yet to find a glue that works on those.
