Srry to hear about your torque wrench and bar, take em back.

    And yes flares too.

Watched a vid a guy modified a stock airbox.
    Yep, kayak vids too.

Cant wait to try it on my next broken sunglasses.
Have yet to find a glue that works on those.

I also recommend Amcrest cameras. They also can use SD cards if you don’t want to set up a NVR. Also, the app works well and is stable (iPhone user).

Agreed for a simple setup for a few cameras with no NVR the Amcrest app is really good. For my Amcrest indoor PTZ motion cameras that have speaker/mic I use it to talk to people in the kitchen when I’m out of the house. The mics are good enough that this is easier than calling on the phone when i get sent to the store because somebody is cooking etc. and doesn’t need to grab a phone.

I think some of their outdoor cams have mic/speaker too so you can record audio or talk to people out front etc.

So I looked them up on Amazon. The box that comes with the cameras I assume just plugs into the wall? Or do I need WiFi? Because as if right now I don’t have WiFi

You need ethernet of some kind for communication. Either WiFi or wired. For one or two cams, wireless bandwidth is sufficient but more than a couple cams will flood your WiFi bandwidth amd you should use wired ethernet.

I like the POE cameras because they get ethernet and power over the same standard ethernet cable. So you only have to run 1 wire out to the cam, which is convenient outdoor.

I have around 10 outside and several inside, so I have to use wired ethernet. They plug into a POE switch that breaks out the ethernet connection and also provides power over the ethernet connection. If you don’t have a few cameras and just want to power one or two over POE, you can get an in-line adapter that gives power to the ethernet line out to the cam as the adapter also has a plug-in wall wart 110V adapter.

Edit- you can just give it power and let it record to the SD card, which would not require ethernet of any kind. But you still have to get power to it with a cable, so it usually makes sense to use POE for power and get ethernet access to view it too. And if your system grows, it is useful to have an NVR such as Blue Iris on a laptop to store all the video in a central location and to provide a centralized means to monitor them all.

    Good job.
I considered heating up a screwdriver or something before I found this kit.

I am actually impressed you broke their breaker bar.

I had a 4 foot cheater pipe on it for a really rusted lug nut we ended up have to cut off. Breaker bar held up even with all that torque on it.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
Picked up one of the 8gal McGraw compressors with a $125 coupon last week. I haven't had a chance to use to for anything too big yet but I was very impressed with how fast it came up to pressure. No more than 2-3 minutes to go from 0psi up to 150psi and it took a decent amount to bleed it down using the air gun at 100psi to have it kick back on about 115psi in the tank.

So far I am impressed and excited to see how it does running my little Banks brad nailer when I install all new baseboards and door casing here soon.

Picked up the ICON 3/8 stubby ratchet for work. I’m pretty surprised by how nice it is. It’s honestly feels no different than my Snap-On ratchet.

Plus there’s currently a 20% off coupon for all ICON tools, so it was definitely worth it.

The drive part where the socket connects is what snapped. I used it on some lug nuts that were either way over torqued or corroded on or the combination of both. So it took some force to really break it but either way it still broke lol

How loud is it? I have had the HD Porter Cable pancake compressor seals in the head fail 3 times in 2 yrs.

It claims 85dB, real world comparison it is not quite as loud as my 3 gal HF pancake but the more important factor is it runs for a considerably shorter time in comparison.

One of the complaints about Harbor Freight Cement Mixers is that their drums are some times out of round resulting in the gears meshing tighter in one spot. On my mixer, I just removed three of the bolts from the base plate and shimmed between the drum and the base plate with three washers before replacing the bolts. The gears mesh smoothly with no tight spots now. Works great!

I bought one a couple years ago. it's still going, cuts reasonably well. Cuts a lot better with dry air. Contact tips are kind of a pain to buy, but available.
    I'd love a Thermal dynamics 60i or a Hypertherm xp45, but $$

Thanks to you guys mentioning this I said what the hell and swooped up the 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" this past weekend. At $10 a pop and a lifetime warranty I figured you really couldn't go wrong.

I have the 3/8 and 1/4 inch ones. I haven’t used the 1/4 for anything yet. The 3/8 doesn’t click hardly as crisp as I’d like it to but it gets the job done and feels great otherwise.

Just a shipping data point: That HF order placed Friday afternoon arrived this Tuesday afternoon by FedEx. So far, my 3 orders placed within the last year all delivered as fast as Prime.

Anybody have this charger? Just wondering what the charge pattern is like? Does it float charge after it fully charges the battery or just monitor?
