I was considering these but don't like the rubber puck style top. The entire bottom of my truck, like so many of ours here, is slobbered up with cosmoline.

i've seen that many inside, this limiting of people is kind of nice but annoying having to wait on the person that likes to walk EVERY aisle.

Home depot and lowes were both like this mid April. Only allowing so many people in the store at a time. I waited in the lines 1 time and have not returned since. No idea if they still are. My HF says they reserve the right to limit the people, but I have yet to experience it.

It's just the waiting. Very few people inside. Waited 5 mins.

Edit: very little stuff compared to pre covid times.

Any suggestions on volt meter, will the cheap one at HF suffice for a one time use?

Absolutely. I liked the free ones for any of the type of work I need. But I seem to have run through my stash of those. Bought the cheap HF one last week with coupon for $3 or $4. Worked great for trouble shooting a horn issue on the taco.

I have several. High end Flukes and HF freebies. I like the HF ones for working on a ladder. I don't care if I drop it.
