Outdoor gearheads will say "buy nice or buy twice." I haven't bought much from Harbor Freight over the years, but if there's a specialized tool I need that I don't anticipate using much, I will consider theirs.

Our old lawn tractor needed new tires. Decided to keep it local and order them from our Stihl dealer and small engine repair guy, who always treats us right. Decided to have him mount them too, saving me the hassle since I gave the tire irons away years ago when I got done with motorcycles. He said bring the tractor in and we'll take care of you. I said I'll just bring the wheels. I bet he got a chuckle out of that. How hard could it be?

Jacked up the tractor, blocked it, and couldn't get either to budge. 20200614_175048.jpg 20200614_175137.jpg Consulted You Tube. Whoa, dozens of videos testifying I wasn't alone. Went to Harbor Freight to buy a gear puller kit. $12 and change after the coupon. Not counting the 60 mile drive, about 3 hours labor, and lots of bad language, I got 'er done. Wife said "next time, pay somebody." But I learned something, and have this tool kit I'll probably never use again. 20200614_175048.jpg

It’s not a direct fit. The cabinet is 22” deep and my cart is 19” so there is some overhang in the back. You also have to grind some of the lip on top of the cabinet. I can get pics later if you want.

    here you go:

basically, on the backside of the cabinet you have to cut off a portion of the top lip so that it will sit on the cart correctly. Not hard, took me two times to get it right, but I also cut it short the first time where I eyeballed it.
    C342882B-AF21-41EA-B6C5-A1449B2BA5BD.jpg

then I had to make a cut on the cart lid to allow it to shut all the way

Lastly, on the bottom of the cabinet there are two holes where you can put some bolts through. You have to drill through the cart though. No pics because I haven’t done it yet. My cart stays stationary so I didn’t feel it was necessary.

I've had one for a few years. It works well whenever I use it.

    Stuff. Also things.
I got one one of the Banks nailers last year after we bought our new house. Ended up replacing all of the baseboard in the house and I never once had an issue with the nailer.

I bought one of the 2 in 1 nailers - brad and staple - and wish I didn't. When using brads it still leaves an indent in the wood in the shape of a staple crown. I know you didn't mention the 2 in 1 but I just wanted to make you aware.

I have the Kawasaki version of that in my Toro ZT. How hard was the wiring harness to adapt? Plug right up?

Lol. I just did a Toro to Predator 4 days ago.

You will need to make extensions. The Toro has the wires near the left rear tire, the Predator has the harness coming out on the complete opposite position.

I just ordered some of these so I could plug the Toro/Exmark harness directly into the Predator plug. I wasn't happy with my McGyvered wiring. I thought these would make it easier and look cleaner.Screenshot_20200705-150818.jpg
