    What hasn't been modified?
Then I’d say it’s acceptable. I thought ya can tighten it up by the screw/slide pads.

Looks similar to one a coworker used to complete a few 80% lowers. As mentioned tighten everything good and take small cuts. Haste makes waste, a old journeyman once told me a few decades ago. Last equipment I bought from horrible fright was a shop press. It works fine for me as does the ball joint press I've had for several years.

I picked one up and it was too big for my press. I got one step up from their smallest drill press.

Exchange it for a smaller vise? Upgrade to larger drill press? Possibly find bar stock or plate to make it fit on the drill table. Lots of options, just might have to get creative.

Saw one on Amazon that would fit, just a little skeptical.

Just me, but I'd take the extra inch unless you plan on using it everyday I don't see why the low pro wouldn't last you many years. I've only had it for a year but don't have any real complaints. That inch has been the difference between needing to add blocks to achieve what I need.

I got the low-pro long reach in green and love it. Would've got blue but they released it after I had already bought one...

I have the predecessor to the daytona low-pro. I bought it for the higher reach, not the low pro. I've been super happy with it as long as I'm not trying to lift it up into my truck(that thing is heavy!)

Thanks for all the input guys! I know I can’t go wrong between the 2 jacks. Gonna go to HF tomorrow with that 15% off and take a look at both and decide.

After doing some more reading about the snapon lawsuit/comparison I’m kinda leaning toward the superduty. I like all the grease zerks too.

I don’t need low pro either for my truck but it’ll come in handy on my lady’s VW.

I have the 3 ton low pro, not the long reach. I love it, no problems working on the truck or my Wife's Jeep.
Although I did have to add a few blocks of wood when I installed her lift, but the 1" gain from the long reach wouldn't have made a difference.

The grease zerks are a nice touch on the super duty.
I don't think you'll go wrong whatever you choose!

I don't remember if I updated on this thread.

Got a Titanium 170 for my birthday, just running flux core so far but it's been handy and fun to start learning!

Yes I know the extension cord is probably not the best idea, it was just a quick weld on the gate wheel though.
