They have a three day sale, 30% off batteries too! Pretty sure this is the final day.
The Tool Bear did a video on that too I believe.

I've used the "rentals" from O'Reillys and Autozone over the years. They are not much better, and have had their share of abuse, so I'm ahead of you in the :anonymous: department.

However, maybe a placebo, but what I do is throw a ratchet strap through the spring and anchor it to something so if it lets loose I may live to tell others what happened.

I once saw a shop using a seat belt pretensioner for the same purpose They had a dedicated press for springs, but had added the seatbelt for a little extra insurance.

By the specs the lumens are different but only by 50 lumens. Then the CRI is slightly off.

Most likely they are made by the same manufacturer.

Pics never do justice to anything lighting but this is the best I got.

My outdoor lights are on but you can see the spread of light with a light in each wheel well and another under the rocker panel between the door jambs.

Too bad the leafs block a lot of the light behind the tire. Front and rockers are good for night wheeling, rear is good enough!
I'm considering doing a split front camera setup with two feeds, one over each tire to an aftermarket head unit so I can spot myself if need be.

    cool. Nice set up!!
I was going to install in the storage bin in the bed. Leaving slack so I can pull it out to move around. And use the wire kit with switch, relay and fuse

Their business model is affordable tools but I welcome some internal testing so they don't sell crappy pot-metal stuff that breaks on first use.

My opinion is that if Harbor Freight, Lowes and HD continue on their current trajectory then Lowes and Home Depot may be known as the "expensive junk tool companies."

Personally I'm a fan of having both inexpensive and heavier quality items. My last visit to Harbor Freight I had the choice of a $24 Pittsburgh torque wrench or a $104 Icon. I chose the $24 model as I use it infrequently and is easy enough to calibrate.

I'm a fan of HF but it may take some time for them to lose the "Hobo Freight" endearing nickname. :)

Yup. It's a '95 Non-turbo. Its got gobs of issues, mostly rust. Has the usual rusty rockers and has some rot in the drivers shock tower that I'm gonna have to figure out how to fix. The engine leaks and smokes, but has over 237K. I bought it back in April from an old friends mother to use as a go to work beater. Actually helped replace the engine in it back when I was in high school in 2006. Thing has quickly been a thorn in my side ever since I bought it
