Looks good. Their developers & marketing teams are lazy, they've got your email address in the URL FYI.

Picked up a couple tools. The 16” Grove Joint Pliers come in handy for both the Truck and around the house.

I have the pneumatic version from HF. If build quality is similar, I’d say it’s OK for occasional use but not something I’d go to for a lot of sanding and shaping. The thin belts are kinda crappy and tend to tear if you lean into them even a little. Really reminds you to let the sandpaper do it’s thing rather than force it into the material.

I have never used one of those sanders from any brand.....

But all brands from HF are house brands. In the hierarchy of HF brands Chicago Electric is pretty near the bottom. Only thing I'd put lower. Is the black with red trim brand.

HF (as well as box store) sandpaper sucks. Buy some decent belts, and you'll be amazed at the difference. Go here: Klingspor's Woodworking Shop No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

Their bargain boxes are well worth it, too. Quality sandpaper lasts longer, cuts better, and has more uniform grain size. One bargain box is enough for years.

HF sandpaper is recycled toilet paper pulled from the Ganges River and shipped to China for processing.

I bought some of their 5" orbital sandpaper for my DeWalt and used it on some walnut. All the holes matched up and everything looked good, but when sanding it gouged and marked up the wood terribly. When I inspected the paper every vent hole was shaped like a mini volcano. Not sure if the hook/loop on the paper was bad or what, but in the garbage it went. And if I had a swear jar it would have been filled that day. I think that is the only Fail I've had with HF.

Thanks all for the responses. I've watched a couple videos of people using them (not specifically the HF ones, just this type of tool) to grind off rivets and help flatten welds. I'm not optimistic this will work well but I realize quality consumables will help. We'll see!

That automatic punch does great against defeating car windows as well, and fits handily in a pen slot.

Don't ask me how I know that. :spy: #Iswearitwasntanythingillegal

As someone who has been hit by a car before (thankfully at low speed), I highly recommend not using that approach.
